Some frequently asked questions:Is it really FREE to Transfer?
If you own an Australian domain (with .au at the end), you can transfer your domain to Server World for FREE (if renewal is not to occur in 2 months or less). This is great news for those who think that they might be stuck with the pricing and service of their current host or registrar.
Can I transfer ANY domain?
We can transfer ANY domain from ANY registrar to us. Check out the page above which shows a shortlist of the domain pricing – this list isn’t all of them!
Will it take my emails or website offline?
No, a domain transfer will keep all Name Server settings intact upon transfer and will not disrupt hosting during the process.
To transfer a domain, follow these steps:
- Visit the Server World website domain transfer tool: Domain Transfer Tool
- Select the second option “I want to transfer my domain to Server World”
- Type in the domain in the text box without the www and the .com part, select the domain suffix from the dropdown list.
- If the domain exists, it will tell you “Available! Order Now” and you just need to select the transfer period from the dropdown. Then click Add to Cart.
- Next it will ask you for the EPP Code. This is also referred to as the Domain Password. This can be obtained from your original domain registration records, or you can request it from your Registrar (should be a simple free service). Server World can assist you in getting this information if you are having difficulties.
- Select any extra services.
- Type in the name server details (leave it as it is shown if you don’t understand). Note: If you transfer a domain, the domain Name Server records will remain intact upon transfer and you will not need to be concerned about website and email services
- Click update cart.
- Follow the payment procedure (if required) and you will then be notified of your domain transfer via email.
